I'm easy - Keith Carradine from Robert Altman's Nashville 1975

Things visible on the surface are not the same at the base. And many times the opposite is also true. And when it comes to movies, who else can depict it better than Robert Altman. Released in 1975, directed by Robert Altman, Nashville is a musical film. A winner of many awards, selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry, Nashville is generally considered to be one of Altman's best films. The film revolves around 24 main characters with many parallel storylines and strong symphony. It is also a window for contemporary American country music.

For me, the best part is the song written, composed and sung by Keith Carradine which won him the Oscar for Best Original Song for writing the tune. I found the song on youtube. Listened. Sung along. And felt. Just compare it with "jai Ho". It is fully composed on guitar only. No huge orchestra. Yes, simplicity has its own Prowess. And look at the lyrics and young dashing Keith Carradine himself on the screen.
